ਭਾਰਤ ਦੇ ਕਾਨੂੰਨ ਪੂਰੇ ਦੇਸ਼ ਲਈ ਕੇਂਦਰ ਸਰਕਾਰ ਦੁਆਰਾ ਅਤੇ ਰਾਜ ਸਰਕਾਰਾਂ ਦੁਆਰਾ ਆਪਣੇ-ਆਪਣੇ ਰਾਜਾਂ ਦੇ ਨਾਲ-ਨਾਲ ਸਥਾਨਕ ਮਿਉਂਸਪਲ ਕੌਂਸਲਾਂ ਅਤੇ ਜ਼ਿਲ੍ਹਿਆਂ ਦੁਆਰਾ ਬਣਾਏ ਜਾਂਦੇ ਹਨ।

The laws of India are made by the union government for the whole country and by the state governments for their respective states as well as by local municipal councils and districts.

ਬੁਨਿਆਦੀ ਧਾਰਨਾਵਾਂ ਕਾਨੂੰਨ ਕੀ ਹੈ?

ਬਹੁਤੇ ਲੋਕ ਇਸ ਗੱਲ ਨਾਲ ਸਹਿਮਤ ਹੋਣਗੇ ਕਿ ਕਾਨੂੰਨ ਮਨੁੱਖੀ ਵਿਵਹਾਰ ਨੂੰ ਨਿਯਮਾਂ ਦੁਆਰਾ ਨਿਯੰਤਰਿਤ ਕਰਦਾ ਹੈ। ਇਹ ਵਿਵਹਾਰ ਦੇ ਕੁਝ ਤਰੀਕਿਆਂ ਦੀ ਮਨਾਹੀ ਕਰਦਾ ਹੈ, ਉਦਾਹਰਨ ਲਈ ਚੋਰੀ ਕਰਨਾ, ਮਾਰਨਾ ਜਾਂ ਗਤੀ ਸੀਮਾਵਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਪਾਰ ਕਰਨਾ ਅਤੇ ਦੂਜਿਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਤਜਵੀਜ਼ ਕਰਦਾ ਹੈ। ਉਦਾਹਰਨ ਲਈ ਟੈਕਸ ਦਾ ਭੁਗਤਾਨ ਕਰਨਾ ਜਾਂ ਸਹੀ ਲੇਨ 'ਤੇ ਗੱਡੀ ਚਲਾਉਣਾ।

ਕਿਸੇ ਵੀ ਦੇਸ਼ ਦਾ ਸੰਵਿਧਾਨ ਰਾਜਨੀਤਿਕ ਪ੍ਰਣਾਲੀ, ਨਿਆਂ ਪ੍ਰਣਾਲੀ ਅਤੇ ਉਸ ਦੇਸ਼ ਦੇ ਨਾਗਰਿਕਾਂ ਦੇ ਹਿੱਤਾਂ ਦੀ ਰੱਖਿਆ ਦਾ ਇੱਕ ਬੁਨਿਆਦੀ ਸਾਧਨ ਹੁੰਦਾ ਹੈ। ਜਿਸ ਰਾਹੀਂ ਉਸ ਦੇਸ਼ ਦੇ ਵਿਕਾਸ ਦੀ ਦਿਸ਼ਾ ਤੈਅ ਕੀਤੀ ਜਾਂਦੀ ਹੈ। ਸੰਵਿਧਾਨ ਕਿਸੇ ਵੀ ਦੇਸ਼ ਦਾ ਬੁਨਿਆਦੀ ਕਾਨੂੰਨ ਹੁੰਦਾ ਹੈ, ਜੋ ਸਰਕਾਰ ਦੇ ਵੱਖ-ਵੱਖ ਅੰਗਾਂ ਦੀ ਰੂਪਰੇਖਾ ਅਤੇ ਮੁੱਖ ਕਾਰਜ ਨਿਰਧਾਰਤ ਕਰਦਾ ਹੈ।

FIR (First information Report)
ਪਹਿਲੀ ਸੂਚਨਾ ਰਿਪੋਰਟ (ਐਫ-ਆਈ-ਆਰ) ਪੁਲਿਸ ਦੁਆਰਾ ਤਿਆਰ ਕੀਤਾ ਗਿਆ ਇੱਕ ਲਿਖਤੀ ਦਸਤਾਵੇਜ਼ ਹੁੰਦਾ ਹੈ ਜਦੋਂ ਉਹਨਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਕਿਸੇ ਅਪਰਾਧਿਕ ਅਪਰਾਧ ਬਾਰੇ ਜਾਣਕਾਰੀ ਮਿਲਦੀ ਹੈ। ਇਹ ਸੂਚਨਾ ਦੀ ਰਿਪੋਰਟ ਹੈ ਜੋ ਸਮੇਂ ਦੇ ਸਮੇਂ ਸਭ ਤੋਂ ਪਹਿਲਾਂ ਪੁਲਿਸ ਤੱਕ ਪਹੁੰਚਦੀ ਹੈ ਅਤੇ ਇਸ ਲਈ ਇਸਨੂੰ ਪਹਿਲੀ ਸੂਚਨਾ ਰਿਪੋਰਟ ਕਿਹਾ ਜਾਂਦਾ ਹੈ।

First Information Report (FIR) is a written document prepared by the police when they receive information about the commission of a cognizable offence. It is a report of information that reaches the police first in point of time and that is why it is called the First Information Report.
