The Court noted that there was no allegation of cruelty against the petitioner except that she was suspected of having an illegal relationship with the husband of woman who had filed complaint of domestic violence.

Karnataka High Court has ruled that a wife cannot make her husband's extra marital partner, a respondent in an application moved by her under Section 12 of the Protection of Women from Domestic Violence Act, 2005.

Triple Talaq Now Criminal Offence

Muslim Husband now can't pronounce Triple Talaq ie Divorce at one sitting,
Spoken
Written
Electronic Form
ie SMS, WhatsApp, etc.
Now shall be Void, Illegal and Punishable Criminal Offence.

The Offence is Cognizable, Compoundable, Nonbailable and attracts 3 year jail term with or without fine.

Wife and children are entitled to receive subsistence allowance as determined by the magistrate from her husband.

Wife also shall be entitled to custody of her minor children.

Now, no Muslim Husband shall pronounce Divorce to his Wife. Alhamdulillah, now Divorce Percentage will Decrease in Muslim Community. Anyhow, still the options of Quranic Talaq and Qula are open for the Muslim Couple.
