It stands as a moment of great pride and privilege for us to have contributed to this ambitious and transformative initiative.

To witness the Hon’ble President of India acknowledge the S.L.A.T.E. in her address was both inspiring and deeply humbling — a recognition that reflects the vision, purpose, and impact of this initiative.

In July 2022, Lex Erudites had the opportunity to collaborate with the S.L.A.T.E. team as the domain partner for the ‘Effective Citizenship’ component of the Sustainability Leadership and Agency Through Education (S.L.A.T.E.) Project, a collaborative venture of St. Teresa’s College, generously funded by Bharat Petroleum. Our work focused on strengthening constitutional awareness and understanding of key legal frameworks — including POCSO, NDPS, Information Technology, and Consumer Protection — with the objective of empowering nearly 12,000 students and teachers across Kerala.

Over the course of the year, a young and committed team, together with our creative collaborators, helped shape this component into a dynamic and student-focused learning experience.

As we reflect on this journey in 2025, we are humbled by the far-reaching influence it has created. A milestone of particular significance for us was the publication of Lex Erudites’ inaugural book on Effective Citizenship, and the enthusiasm with which students embraced it in their learning environments.

With sincere gratitude to every individual and institution that supported this mission, we hope to see this model of learning continue to expand. Initiatives such as this play a vital role in shaping informed, responsible, and globally conscious citizens of tomorrow.
