**What is a Canada Super Visa?**
The Super Visa is a multiple-entry visa that allows parents and grandparents of Canadian citizens or permanent residents to visit Canada for up to five consecutive years.
To qualify for a Super Visa, both the host and the applicant must satisfy specific requirements, including:
- The host is required to demonstrate an adequate minimum income based on their household size.
- The applicant must provide proof of medical insurance for a minimum of one year.
- The applicant is also required to undergo an immigration medical examination.

The Super Visa program was introduced in 2011 as part of the Action Plan for Faster Family Reunification.

I am deeply concerned about the current immigration policies in Canada, particularly the recent changes to regulations governing study permits, spousal work permits, post-graduate work permits, and permanent residency that took effect in 2024. These changes have led to confusion and uncertainty among students, prompting some to consider applying for refugee status. Those seeking asylum will encounter prolonged wait times for a hearing and an appeal, with current wait times of approximately two years for a hearing and one year for an appeal expected to rise. Throughout this period, they will be eligible for medical benefits, reduced tuition fees, and work permits, although approval for the latter may be subject to significant delays. Some individuals may even establish themselves and start families, further complicating matters if their asylum claims are ultimately denied.

S121 Practical Nursing two years diploma program https://www.georgebrown.ca/programs/practical-nursing-program-pn-s121 is now offered to international students and available to apply for Jan 2025 intake.
There are limited seats and this is a competitive program to get in. Thank you.

The two-year Practical Nursing program teaches students the foundational skills required to work as a practical nurse. Following successful completion of the program, graduates will be eligible to write the national Canadian Practical Nurse Registration Examination (CPNRE).
