Mukesh Kumar Malviya (Assistant Professor), BHU
B.A., LL.B. (Gold Medalist), LL.M. (Gold Medalist), M.Phil.(Law) (Merit Scholar), Ph.D. & UGC-NET
Specialization : Jurisprudence, Legal Research Methodology, Indian Constitutional Law, Human Rights Law, Law & Social Transformation, Judicial Process, Law of Interpretation, Law of Evidence, Hindu Law, Muslim Law, Environmental Law, Professional Ethics and Public Interest Litigation. He obtained LL.B from Satpura Law College, Chhindwara, affiliated to Dr. H.S.G. University Sagar (M.P.). LL.M and Ph.D. from Department of Law, Barkatullah University, Bhopal (M.P.). M.Phil.(Law) from School of Law, Devi Ahilya Viswavidhalaya, Indore (M.P.). Obtained Ph.D. degree for his thesis titled as-"भारत में सामाजिक, आर्थिक, राजनैतिक न्याय-एक विधिक अध्ययन (भारतीय संविधान में राज्य के नीति निर्देशक तत्व के विशेष सम्बन्ध में)";(2014) under the guidance of Dr. Nisha Dube, Vice Chancellor, Barkatullah University, Bhopal. He is a throughout Gold Medalist in LL.B, LL.M and M.Phil (Law). He joined Banaras Hindu University, Varanasi as an Assistant Professor in Law in July, 2010. He also served as a M.P. Govt. Guest faculty in New Govt. Law College Indore (2009). Dr. Malviya has more than 6 years of experience of teaching of LL.B and LL.M classes. He has guided and supervised more than 5 LL.M dissertations and presently 4 LL.M. and 4 Ph.D. scholars are working under him.
He is the Editor in Chief of Jurist (An International Research Refereed Law Journal), Adhikar, 15Days, The Public: Problem and Solution and International Research and Reviews (An International Research Refereed multidisciplinary Journals). He is a member of the Editor, Editorial Board, Advisory Board and Legal Advisor of the many Journals of Law and social sciences. He has delivered lectures in various universities and colleges, participated in number of international and national conferences, seminars, workshops, and refresher course as resource person. He has written many articles, research papers and book chapters in reputed various national and international journals, news papers, magazines and edited books on Social, Economic, Political, Educational and Environmental issues. He has also in his credit an impressive array of over 150 high quality research papers published in the prestigious national and international journals and chapters contributed to books edited by distinguished scholars and legal luminaries and has also reviewed books for journals. He has attended and presented research papers in more than 150 international and national seminars, workshops and conferences. He has made an indelible imprint in the fields of legal research and education.
He actively participated in N.S.S, Scout guide and Legal Literacy Camps for social welfare at various levels and was also active in student's politics as he was Student's Union President (2006) and Vice President (2005) at Satpura Law College Chhindwara (M.P.). He secured 1st position in the National Level Moot Court at Satpura Law College, Chhindwara (M.P.). He is Life Member of the Indian Political Science Association, Meerut (U.P.) and Academique- A discussion group at Varanasi (U.P.). He acted as convener, co-convener and members in a number of committees at departmental and university level. He has regular Member of the Legal Aid Clinic and anti ragging sub-squad for 5 year. He has organized many Debates and General Knowledge Competition at faculty level.
Dr. Malviya has received many awards which include : 1.The Best Citizens of India Award, 2013 by International Publishing House, New Delhi for his contribution to the field of the world's most leading biographical specialists. 2.Bharat Jyoti Award, 2013 by India International Friendship Society, New Delhi for his meritorious services, outstanding performance and remarkable role. 3.Glory of India Gold Medal, 2013 by International Institute of Success, New Delhi for his individual excellence in recognition of sterling merit excellent performance and outstanding contribution for the progress of the nation and worldwide. 4.Rashtrya Ratan Award, 2014, 5.Bharat Excellence Award & Gold Medal, 2014, 6.Certificate of Felicitation, 2014 7.Indian Award for Excellence, 2014 and 8.Rashtrya Jewel Award,2014 by Friendship Forum (Regd.), New Delhi, for his outstanding praiseworthy and extra-ordinary achievements in his fields of activity and services rendered to promote greater friendship and India- International co-operation.
His area of Interest includes Jurisprudence, Legal Research Methodology, Indian Constitutional Law, Human Rights Law, Law & Social Transformation, Judicial Process, Law of Interpretation, Law of Evidence, Hindu Law, Muslim Law, Environmental Law, Professional Ethics and Public Interest Litigation etc.
