Today I represented one sewer cleaner before Hon’ble High Court of Delhi in a PIL challenging the constitutional validity of “Prohibition of Employment as Manual Scavengers and their Rehabilitation Act, 2013” being violative of Article 14, Article 17, Article 21, and Article 23 of the Constitution of India.
The Hon’ble High Court issued the notice and sought response of the government within 6 weeks.
