An article titled “Affidavit: An Outdated Legacy in Court Procedures”* written by the founding partner of PSP Legal, Advocates and Solicitors Mr. Aditya Parolia along with one of the Senior most bureaucrat of our country Shri B K Agarwal, published by India Law Journal . The above article focuses upon one of the major question now raised before the Indian Judicial System with respect to the sworn affidavits we still use in the court proceedings i.e., ”whether affidavits are now an outdated legacy in court procedures”.

Our partner Aditya Parolia has been invited by NIRC, Gurugram to explain the complex process of Reverse Insolvency ,which has been recently mandated by The National Company Law Appellate Tribunal. It will great to take perspective of Ld. Chartered Accountants and IRPs on the subject, which due to lockdown was not examined in detail but is certainly going to determine a lot of pending disputes before the NCLTs. It happens to be a judicial experiment rather than a legislative one, hence is not backed by detailed procedure & guidelines.
