Gurgaon is an important realty market of the country, and especially in the National Capital Region (NCR). That said, Gurgaon was not unaffected by the slump that hit the country’s realty sector.

For a city like Gurgaon that needs only a small amount of stimulus to get up and running again, the winds of change are blowing strong. The changes will not happen overnight, but 2017 will bring visible progress on the ground. As a result, real estate pricing trends in Gurgaon will also begin picking up again.

DDA Housing Scheme 2016 likely to be launched around Diwali:-

Most of the 12,000 flats on offer in DDA Housing Scheme 2016 are in Rohini, Dwarka, Narela, Vasant Kunj and Jasola.

The registration fee has also been hiked. For LIG category the fee would be Rs.1.5 lakh while for MIG it would be Rs.5 lakh. “This is to eliminate the middlemen.” From application to refund, the DDA this time has planned to make the scheme an online affair to reduce the long queues of flat buyers at its headquarters.

Highlights DDA Housing Scheme 2016:

Number of Flats: Around 12,000, 1BHK and 2BHK

Locations: Rohini, Dwarka, Narela, Vasant Kunj and Jasola

Registration to Start: In the first week of October-

Process of Booking: Online through net banking, debit card, credit card etc on DDA’s website

Registration Amount: Rs 3 lakh for LIG flats and Rs 5 lakh for MIG flats

Cost of Flat: LIG flats were priced between Rs 18-20 lakh last year and MIG flats were priced between Rs 60 and 70 lakh. The prices are likely to be slightly higher this time.

Gurgaon proposes 15% cut in circle rate-

The Gurgaon administration has proposed to slash circle rates of properties by 15% this year to help revive the sluggish real estate market.

If the Haryana government approves the proposal, it will be the first time in recent history that Gurgaon, a premium real estate market, will see the circle rate graph slip downward.

In the previous two financial years — 2014-15 and 2015-16 — circle rates in the city were kept unchanged but that failed to lift buyer sentiment.
