Job Description:
CCTV Technician is responsible for installing and maintaining closed-circuit television system. He will commonly work with video cameras, monitors, recording devices, networking equipment and other related hardware to ensure that these systems are functioning properly at all times.
General Duties and Responsibilities
· Installation, troubleshooting intrusion/interruption and access control security system
· Ability solve software and hardware issues
· Installation of low voltage signal cable required for access control, intrusion/interruption detection and intercom and CCTV systems.
· Properly mount (secure, level and centered) equipment like displays, enclosures, power supplies, switches and security cameras according to manufacturer's specifications.
· Installation of electronic access control and intrusion detection boards and equipment enclosures.
· Installation and termination of head-end equipment such as servers, DVR's NVR's matrix switches, Ethernet switches and within equipment enclosures and racks.
· Installation and termination of access controls, intrusion detection and CCTV devices and sensors.
· Setup and program security, access control, intrusion, audio visual and CCTV systems communications network.
· Installation and troubleshooting central telephone, door access control, cable and satellite TV
· Troubleshooting security network connectivity issues and install/re-install cable when necessary.
· Provide security camera cleaning, adjustments and repair.
· Run electrical wirings in attics, crawl and other confined spaces which also includes drilling, trending and aerial runs
· Completion of wirings, connections and all kinds of equipment installation ensuring security system are in place, complete and satisfies consumers and contractual requirements.
· Documentation of installation issues/actions/resolutions both internally and externally (site visit reports, acceptance forms, site survey, estimating of materials, etc.).
· Installation and repair work as designated in profitable and correct manner, Records productive time versus travel time.
· Promote build and maintain good and smooth working relationship with customers and contract retention assistance.
· CCTV crime, thief, etc. and furnish report(s) for government if needed.
Solid Skills Requirement
• Attention to details. • Ability to work independently
• Excellent communication skills, both in oral and written. • Highly dedicated.
Professional Qualifications
• Diploma in Electronics / Electrical.
• Knowledge in CCTV, Access Controls and IPCCTV (Internet Protocol CCTV) or equivalent.
• Minimum 2-3 yrs experience on networks and physical security system.
Working Hours Requirements
• 8:00AM - 5:30PM, from Sunday - Thursday.
