I had never experienced anything like this in my life. It was the first time I felt this way. I had gone to a temple just to visit and explore—a temple I had never been to before, and perhaps my first real experience or prayer with Lord Shiva. I was praying not only for someone else but also for myself.
There, I met a man named Pal, who was completely disabled in one leg. Along with him were about five to seven other religious figures, including some women. Each of them was serving God in their own way, and some were also asking people for donations.
I asked them, “Would you please pray to Shiva for me?” They prayed for me, and also for the person I was with, specifically mentioning their name.
When I approached Mr. Pal, he asked, “Sir, may I take a photo with you?” I replied, “Of course.” At first, he kept a little distance. Then I suggested he come closer. As he came near and I placed my hand on his shoulder, he was genuinely moved—tears welled up in his eyes. He said, “Sir, many important people come here. But the way you are behaving with me—standing so close, placing your hand on my shoulder, coming near—I have never experienced anything like this in my life.”
Even in that large temple, where high-ranking officials, diplomats, and other important people often visit, I realized that what truly matters is honesty and sincerity—not whether someone is rich, powerful, or ordinary.
For the five, seven, eight, or ten people who reached out to me, I did my best to help them. I assured them that whatever I can do for them in the future, I will. And I told them to always keep smiling and enjoy life, because life can be very harsh and doesn’t care about who you are or what your circumstances might be.
Honestly, helping them made me incredibly happy; it was one of the most important moments of my life. And especially for one person, whose name I cannot officially mention, when they said they would pray for that individual—asking God to remove all their problems and bring happiness into their life—I felt immense pride. I will never forget the smile on their face. I hugged them then, and that moment will stay with me forever. 🤔🤔🤗
