What would you say about a Delhi boy, all of 13 years, who completed drafting a legally valid agreement before he even attained puberty, leave aside attaining maturity? Surprised? Don't be.
Meet Santosh Pandey, a (UCL Faculty of Laws) University College of London-educated and also a precocious, lively and affable young lad, possessing personality traits you would not really associate with a lawyer. The high brow education and global identity of Santosh, though, is complemented by a highly grounded existence. This is so as his ethics owe their origin to his family's insistence on living an austere life in his childhood to better understand the trials and tribulations of the common man.
A decade back, Santosh set out to translate his innate entrepreneurial ability to lead a team, manage a big group, build consensus, solve problems, broker peace, analyse disputes for quick resolution and an acerbic wit into practical takeaways for himself and for the world at large. Thus was shaped a future Indian Advocate ( ) who also earned a bachelor in Business Administration to go with a diploma in and followed by a Masters in Law (LLM) in dispute resolution.
Having learnt the proverbial tricks of the law trade working with a vast range of reputed advocates & justices in the of India such as Justice GS Singhvi, Santosh set out to the home of international law education - London, England to feed the law appetite in him further.
There, Santosh offered his tactical nous in his capacity as the President of Graduate Law Society in the prestigious University College of London from where he laid the foundation of establishing his credentials as a foreign lawyer by completing his LLM in Litigation and ADR. This was before he had completed his graduation (GDL) and post graduation (LPC) in English law from BPP Law School, London. He will be officially pronounced a Solicitor in the UK in the later half of 2018 by Solictors' Regulatory Authority.
After attaining a dynamic perspective and practical learning of Indian law, learning his wares in the heat and gruelling grind of high courts and Supreme Court, Santosh began his international foray, mastering his legal craft providing legal consultancy to an array of global corporates, MNCs, large legal firms, and companies such as Pepsi, ELTI UK, ASD Legal, Habitat Investments, Blueline Consulting, PFC International among others. It is on this journey that Santosh realised the need for commissioning a firm of his own which would offer the quality of a full service law firm, going beyond just monetary considerations to inculcate a compassionate worldview and provide a fair trial to all.
Today, the manager par excellence is marshalling his troops in his own army of lawyers, advocates and solicitors at P & Y Law Offices, operating from London with associate offices in and and sister concerns across Europe and Americas. Santosh himself oversees cases, issues and believes in dispute resolution, as against dispute prolongation, at all costs.
