ANOTHER TIGHT SLAP OF RULE OF LAW ON THE TOP LEADERS OF KEJRIWAL GOVERNMENT FOR FILING FALSE COMPLAINT AGAINST ME, MY BROTHER SHRI B. S. BASSI, FORMER DELHI POLICE COMMISSIONER & OTHERS
1. Gopal Mohan, Advisor to Chief Minister of Delhi in furtherance of the disinformation campaign launched by top leaders of Kejriwal Government had filed a false complaint case under section 200 of the Code of Criminal Procedure against me, my brother & others falsely alleging that during the years 1989-1990 we illegally procured a MIG Flat in Lucky Home Society. The said complaint case was dismissed by learned Metropolitan Magistrate, Rohini, Delhi vide its judgment dated 6th May 2016.
2. Today on 14/12/2016, Learned Sessions Judge, Rohini, Delhi has upheld the judgment passed by learned Metropolitan Magistrate and dismissed the false and frivolous Revision Petition filed by Advisor to Arvind Kejriwal against me, my brother & others.
3. It is really unfortunate for people of Delhi that resounding victory of Aam Aadmi Party in Delhi Vidhan Sabha elections has put Top Leaders of Kejriwal Government under a false belief that they are above the law and can do anything without being concerned about legality or illegality ; or truth or falseness of their acts. They are undoubtedly adherents of that school of thought who believe that if a lie is uttered a hundred times, it would become the truth. Because of their said mindset, they have taken recourse only to ‘lies’ in the misinformation campaign and malicious prosecutions launched by them against me and my brother. They are under some wild illusion that their countless repetition of a lie would create a smokescreen between the truth and law of the land and thereby they would succeed in causing harm and injury to me and my family.
4. That task, however, has not been accomplished. Rule of law has again given a tight slap on their dirty faces and cautioned them that it would not permit or authorize them to behave in such a wrong, unfair and unlawful manner against anyone and they should stop their illegal and unsubstantiated propaganda against others henceforth.
5. I have firm belief that in the future also our Truth and Honesty would always rise above the falsehoods of Kejriwal Government. Being an advocate, I would strongly recommend to our Parliamentarians to make stringent laws for defamation and malicious prosecution, to deter these types of unscrupulous persons from fearlessly leveling false, unsubstantiated and defamatory allegations against others to further their political gains. Their acts are detrimental to the progress of our nation.
Being an upright citizen and a part of legal system, I shall continue my fight against these unscrupulous political leaders.

A STRONG LEGAL BLOW TO KEJRIWAL GOVERNMENT AND ITS TOP LEADERS FOR THEIR ILLEGAL AND MALICIOUS ACTS OF INITIATING FALSE AND FRIVOLOUS COMPLAINT CASE AGAINST ME, MY BROTHER ( MR. B.S. BASSI, EX. DELHI POLICE COMMISSIONER) AND 21 OTHERS.

Today is the great day in the history of Indian Legal System, as learned Metropolitan Magistrate, Rohini, Delhi vide its judgment dated 06.05.2016 has dismissed the false and frivolous complaint case filed by Gopal Mohan, Advisor to Chief Minister of Delhi against me, my elder brother and 21 others.
The above case was filed in furtherance of misinformation campaign spread by top leaders of AAP, wherein they had falsely alleged that I and my brother were involved in procuring an MIG Flat in a Society in the year 1989 (so called alleged Society Scam). The only malafide and malicious motive behind their misinformation campaign was to unnecessarily harass and defame an honest and upright officer who was performing his duties fearlessly with utmost honesty and dedication.
I vide my legal notice dated 09.12.2015 have brought true and correct facts within the knowledge of Chief Minister and Deputy Chief Minister of Delhi and strongly refuted all their false manufactured allegations. Further, I have also cautioned them to immediately stop false propaganda against myself and my brother and not to initiate any illegal action against me and my brother on the basis of false allegations manufactured by them and their associates.
However, they both did not consider my genuine legal advice and filed false and frivolous complaint case against us and a few residents of my society through Advisor to Chief Minister of Delhi. The case filed by them is an apt example of dirty politics. Further, the only motive behind filing complaint case was to terrorize an honest and brave officer and to pressurize him to act as per their whims and fancies. However, my brother did not bow down in front of their illegal threats and successfully and boldly completed his tenure, as Delhi Police Commissioner, by strictly adhering to law of the land.
The most shocking and shameful act on the part of Kejriwal Government is that in the said complaint case they have relied upon a false and frivolous complaint of one person namely Manish Kumar Angriash. It is pertinent to mention here that two FIRs / Criminal Cases were registered against said Manish Kumar Angriash and police is carrying out investigations. It is further pertinent to mention here that wife of Manish Kumar Angriash, in order to save herself and her daughter from the atrocities of her husband, is residing with her small daughter at her parental home in our society. The only nefarious purpose of Manish Kumar Angriash in lodging complaint is to harass his wife and father-in-law and to illegally pressurize them to settle the disputes with him as per his dictates. In above said complaint case, Delhi Government in conspiracy with Manish Kumar Angriash had arrayed father, maternal grandfather (Nana) and close family friends of wife of Manish Kumar Angriash as respondents. In a similar manner, Manish Kumar Angriash, maliciously levelled false, frivolous and manufactured allegations against me, my brother and my family.
I strongly condemn these illegal and immoral acts of Kejriwal Government, as they are abetting a tormentor to further harass and torture his wife and small daughter. One thing is clearly evident from above that these people for their political gains and vindictiveness are ready to compromise with the welfare and security of women. In fact, by filing false case against father, Nana and family friends of unfortunate lady they have proved that they by their illegal acts are abetting her further harassment at the hands of her husband.
After dismissal of Complaint Case by Court of Law, I expect from Arvind Kejriwal that he should publically tender an apology for filing illegal, false and malicious case against me, my brother and others. Further, he should also take some constructive steps for the welfare of unfortunate lady and her daughter.
I being an advocate and part of Indian Legal System have full faith on Law of the Land and Administration of Justice and would vigorously continue my legal battle against corrupt and unscrupulous persons.

ODD EVEN FORMULA, AN APPEAL FOR TRUE GANDHI GIRI TO THE DELHI GOVERNMENT

Delhi Government claims that it does not want to enforce the Odd-Even Formula by force and against free will of the people. Hence, the Government / its Civil Defense Volunteers would supposedly do Gandhi Giri by offering flowers to Violators of the Formula.

However, the Notification vide which the trial of Odd-Even Formula has been enforced for duration between 01.01.2016 and 15.01.2016 provides for imposition by Delhi Traffic Police of a highly exorbitant fine of Rs. 2,000/-, irrespective of the reason for violation of the Formula or whether it is a first offence or a repeat offence or whether the car is a petty Maruti 800 or an expensive Mercedes or Jaguar etc.

In my opinion, true Gandhi Giri by Delhi Government would be, only if it would amend the Notification and delete the provision for draconian fine of Rs. 2,000/- ; and instead also mandate Delhi Traffic Police to offer flowers to Violators of the Formula, as it is a mere trial run of the Odd-Even Formula.

Otherwise, the claim of Delhi Government of ‘free will’ during the implementation of the Odd-Even Formula would be yet another instant of its bad intention, as has been manifested in course of various infamous episodes during its short stint. This is so, on the one hand, it is supposedly doing Gandhi Giri by offering flowers to Violators of the Formula, and, on the other hand, suppressing them with heavy hand by imposing, through Delhi Traffic Police, oppressive fine of Rs. 2,000/-.
