Three (3) toll plaza employees were detained for allegedly assaulting a lawyer following a minor altercation on the Lucknow-"Sultanpur highway in Barabanki, police said on Thursday i.e. 15.01.2026.

According to the police, the incident took place on Wednesday at the Gotona Bara toll plaza, where toll staff allegedly surrounded and chased advocate Ratnesh Shukla before assaulting him.

In the viral video, some toll employees can be seen forcing the lawyer to apologise while continuing to beat him.

'I hope we as a rock solid fraternity won't spare these goons.'

"MANEKA GANDHI V. UNION OF INDIA (1978):"

Maneka Gandhi v. Union of India case is a landmark judgment in Indian constitutional history that greatly expanded the interpretation of Article 21 — the right to life and personal liberty.

In 1977, journalist Maneka Gandhi’s passport was impounded by the government without explanation, under Section 10(3)(c) of the Passport Act, 1967. She challenged this action in the Supreme Court, claiming it violated her fundamental rights under Articles 14, 19, and 21.

The Supreme Court ruled in her favor, holding that:

Article 21 includes the right to travel abroad.

Any procedure under Article 21 must be just, fair, and reasonable, not arbitrary.

Articles 14, 19, and 21 are interconnected and must be read together.

Denial of natural justice is unconstitutional.

This case overruled the earlier restrictive view from A.K. Gopalan v. State of Madras laid the foundation for the modern interpretation of personal liberty in India.

I just want to make a humble request for those who act like a Lion for their own sisters, why can't they be the same Lion for someone else's Sister??

Be the Man of good thoughts and strong Morals, don't be the Evil by acting wrong with an Innocent girl/lady.......

Make them feel safe, you never know when the same may happen with your own Girl/Lady.

Such Coward acts by these Men, shakes the entire society in a very bad way.

"TWO SUB-INSPECTORS HAVE BEEN SUSPENDED IN GHAZIABAD (NCR) FOR ALLEGEDLY MAKING A REEL (INSTAGRAM CLIP) WITH A PROPERTY DEALER."

Both the sub-inspectors are posted at Ankur Vihar police station.

Both of them, along with property dealer Sartaj of the Tronica City police station area, made a reel on the dialogue of Rajkumar's film 'Choudhary, you refused to meet our Tehsildar Sahab, you know the consequences of this', which Sartaj Choudhary (property dealer) posted on his Instagram social media.

When the reel went viral, people raised questions on the police and asked whether Sartaj has been given security or policemen are deployed for his security?

Due to questions being raised on the police, the officers came into action and suspended both the sub-inspectors.

Departmental inquiry has also been started against both. On the other hand, property dealer Sartaj Choudhary, who made the reel and made it viral on social media, has also been arrested.

Investigation has revealed that sub-inspectors Dharmendra Sharma and Ritesh Kumar are posted at Ankur Vihar police station in Loni. But the property dealer's office is in Pavi Sadiqpur area of Tronica City police station area.

Officers are also investigating the case as to why both the sub-inspectors went to the property dealer's office? However, for breaking the rules, action for suspension against both of them as well as departmental inquiry has been initiated.

Police brutality has been a constant issue throughout the entirety.

I am depressed due to the ongoing wave of brutality sweeping over the country, I am not anti-police… I am anti-police brutality.

Police brutality is definitely still very alive and active.

Notably, From the 1st day of July new criminal laws will be implemented.

Unfortunately, under the Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita, police custody under general criminal laws has been increased from 15 days to 90 days, depending on the nature of the offense.
