Dear Learned Advocate-on-Record,
As the SCAORA elections approach on 21st May 2026, our fraternity stands at an important moment of reflection and reform.
Over the last few years, issues concerning voter eligibility, delayed AOR registrations, election transparency, institutional accountability, and protection of the independence and dignity of advocates have highlighted deeper concerns within our Association. Equally important are the day-to-day challenges faced by AORs relating to filing, refiling, defect curing, listing, mentioning, and engagement with the Registry.
The conversation today is no longer merely about elections. It is about building a stronger, more responsive, transparent, and institution-driven SCAORA that truly represents and supports every Advocate-on-Record โ senior and junior alike.
This is the time for constructive leadership, institutional strengthening, and collective participation.
With nearly two decades of practice before the Honโble Supreme Court and 15 years as an Advocate-on-Record, I seek your support for the post of Vice President, SCAORA 2026, with a commitment towards accountability, responsiveness, capacity building, technological advancement, and protection of the professional interests and dignity of every AOR.
On 21st May 2026, your vote will help shape the future direction of SCAORA.
I sincerely seek your support, blessings, and guidance.
Warm regards,
Purushottam Sharma Tripathi
Candidate for Vice President
