PENALTY PROVISION



Please note that as per Finance Act, 2017, if the return of income is not filed by due date i.e. before 31-07-2017 (in case of Tax Audit 30-09-2017), it will attract penalty of Rs.5,000/- and if filed after December,17 ,Penalty is Rs. 10,000/-.

All about SWACHH BHARAT CESS (SBC):

CBEC has issued Notification No. 21/2015-Service Tax Dated 6.11.2015 has been issued under sub section (1) of section 119 of Finance Act, 2015 wherein date of effect of levy of Swachh Bharat Cess has been appointed as 15.11.2015. Simultaneously exemption notification No. 22/2015-ST dated 6.11.2015 has also been issued according to which applicable rate of Swachh Bharat Cess has been reduced from 2% to 0.5% on all taxable services.
