The accused in the Nagrik Apurti Nigam (NAN) case were in touch with a Chhattisgarh High Court judge through Constitutional functionaries, the ED told the Supreme Court on Monday.

ED Solicitor General Tushar Mehta said in the investigation it was found that the accused was in communication with a Constitutional official.

Next hearing posed for September 26 at 3 pm.

In Lotus Pay Solutions Pvt Ltd & Anr v Union of India & Ors, The Delhi High Court ruled that Payment Aggregators (PAs) are encompassed by the definition of Payment Systems, and hence the Reserve Bank of India (RBI) has the authority to establish guidelines for their regulation.
Justices Rajiv Shakdher and Tara Vitasta Ganju ruled that the PAs must seek authorization from the central bank in order to function.

On September 7th, 2022, our Partner Vipul Shukla attended an insightful event of having dais full of exemplary and distinguished guests.

The event was headed by the Chief Guest: Hon’ble Mr. Justice Adarsh Kumar Goel, Chairperson, National Green Tribunal and former Justice of Hon’ble Supreme Court of India.

The Bombay High Court recently requested responses from the Serum Institute of India (SII) and Microsoft founder Bill Gates in response to a petition filed by one Dilip Lunawat, seeking 1,000 crores as compensation for the death of his daughter, who he claimed died as a result of the side effects of SII's vaccine, Covishield.

As a partner in SII, the petitioner made Gates a party to the case. SII's attempts to make Covishield were financed by the Bill Gates Foundation.

While dealing with Sanjaykumar Damodar Surve v State of Maharashtra, the Bombay High Court has ordered the City and Industrial Development Corporation (CIDCO), the city's planning authority, to provide a list of structures it has permitted to be built since 2010 in contravention of the General Development Control Rules (GDCRs) enacted in 1975.
The matter will be next heard on October 13.

In Dominos IP Holder LLC & Anr v Ms Dominick Pizza & Anr, the Delhi High Court has prohibited a Ghaziabad-based pizza store from using the name Dominick's Pizza following a trademark infringement lawsuit filed by the worldwide pizza chain Domino's.

Since 'DomiNick's Pizza' was the name of the first restaurant that Domino's acquired in 1960, Justice Prathiba M. Singh determined that the name 'Dominick' is intrinsically and historically tied with Domino's.

In the case of Suo-Moto In re: Right To Decent And Dignified Last Rites/Cremation v State, the Lucknow Bench of the Allahabad High Court ordered the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) to submit an affidavit detailing the status of the Hathras gang-rape prosecution.
The court further stated "Counsel for the CBI shall file an affidavit of some competent officer indicating the progress in the trial. Let a status report be also requisitioned from the learned Trial Court through the District Judge, Hathras as to the status of Sessions Trial No. 583 of 2020 before the next date."
