Govt. GDC Doda Su***de Case – Chenab River Incident
Some students of Government Degree College Doda have recently given statements claiming that the girl who su***de did not have a mobile phone in her pocket but in her arm, that she was cheating or not is unknown, that she was unaware that bringing a phone to college is prohibited, that she had not studied the University’s rules and regulations, and that the professors did not harass her. They have further claimed that all allegations against the professors are false.
However, if this statement is true, a serious question arises:
Why did these claims surface after a delay of nearly ten 10 days?
Where were these statements immediately after the incident, when the truth mattered the most?
This delay strongly indicates that these statements are an attempt to save the concerned professors and appear to be a well-planned effort by GDC Doda to shift responsibility away from the college administration. Had these claims been genuine, they would have been presented immediately, not after ten days.
Many students are still afraid to speak openly due to fear of academic harassment, victimization, or retaliation by the college authorities. This fear itself raises serious doubts about the innocence of the administration. If there had been no wrongdoing, there would be no fear among students.
Therefore, we believe that the recent statements are false, misleading, and influenced, and are being used to protect those responsible. Strict action must be taken against all involved in planning or promoting this narrative.
These statements pertain to the same student who later su***de by jumping into the Chenab River. A very serious and disturbing question arises: why are these claims being made after a delay of nearly ten 10 days? Where were these statements during the initial and most crucial days following the incident?
This delayed narrative strongly suggests a well-planned conspiracy, either by the professors of GDC Doda or through statements extracted from students who are mentally distressed, intimidated, or under pressure. Notably, neither the news channel reporter has clarified what the students who are not coming forward are actually saying, nor has it been made clear which side they support.
However, it appears that these students are not coming before the media because the entire responsibility for this tragedy lies with the college administration and the concerned professors. These students still have to appear in their examinations and reasonably fear harassment, academic victimization, or retaliatory action by the professors if they speak the truth. This fear is the primary reason they are avoiding the media.
If these statements were genuinely in Favor of GDC Doda, the students would have come forward without hesitation or fear. The very fact that they are not appearing before the media strongly indicates that their statements would be against the college administration and the professors.
The News reporter himself revealed that many students wish to speak openly about this case but are living in constant fear fear of academic consequences, harassment, or retaliatory action by college authorities. This fear itself raises a crucial question: if the college administration were innocent, why would students be afraid?
This fear clearly indicates that those students who wish to speak against the college are speaking the truth, and that the environment within GDC Doda is suppressing honest voices. Students believe that if they speak honestly, the concerned professors may be held accountable, and as a result, the students may face harassment or discrimination. This is the primary reason why many students are avoiding the media.
Furthermore, it remains unclear what the student who appeared on News channel was actually trying to convey or which side he was supporting. However, it appears that the student was fully coached before giving the statement. Had these claims been genuine, they would have surfaced immediately, not after a delay of ten 10 days.
Demand for Justice
Strict and exemplary action must be taken against all those involved in this case. The concerned professors should be immediately terminated from service.
Strict legal punishment as per law
A fair, independent, and transparent investigation
Strong institutional safeguards to ensure that no student is ever harassed again
We strongly urge the District Administration, Doda, to initiate the strictest possible action. Even if an inquiry is currently in progress, it is not sufficient. This case demands firm, transparent, and decisive action to ensure justice, accountability, and the safety of students in educational institutions.
