The Maha Rishi of India claimed in his speech that "just as August 15 symbolises the end of India’s freedom struggle, August 5 symbolises the culmination of the fight for a Ram temple for centuries." He compared our sacred freedom struggle with the rowdyism and hooliganism of Dec. 1992... He found similarities within these two inverse realities.... and said "Similarly, several generations have made self-less sacrifices for several centuries for the construction of the Ram Temple. Today marks the culmination of that centuries-old penance, sacrifices and resolve." However when I was reading the Justice Liberhan Commission Report I read the words like 'raze', 'conspiracy', 'assault', 'demolition' etcetera instead of sacrifice, culmination of penance....
The comparison has dwindled the value of our sacred freedom struggle... somewhere the speech was silently dictating that 5th August is going to be the most auspicious day in a year's calendar.... even more than august 15.
Several opinions came up, several questions raised and despised... What's wrong in it? Even the Apex court has directed to envisage a scheme to set up a trust with a board of trustees under Section 6 of the Acquisition of Certain Area at Ayodhya Act, 1993 and had given liberty to the Central Government to make suitable provisions in respect of the rest of the acquired land.
[Section 6 of the Ayodhya Act, 1993 empowers the Central Govt to set up any authority or trust and vest any right, title and interest in such authority instead of continuing to vest in the Central Govt.]
So far these all were pure administrative mechanisms and whatever the central govt had done were purely its administrative functionaries. The trust, i.e., Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Teerth Kshetra was created on 5 February 2020 with 15 trustees...
But still during the whole process, somewhere the constitutional schemes to separate religion from politics and to separate the issues of governance from those of theologies have been sacrificed... whatever may be the ultimate elegance, the past scars of vandalism and communal hatred can hardly be obliterated.
The report holds 68 people culpable... Hon. Justice Liberhan even termed LK Advani, MM Joshi, AB Vajpayee as "pseudo moderates"... The then CM of UP Kalyan Singh was identified by the commission as a key to the conspiracy (he was accused of posting bureaucrats and police officials who were stayed silent during the demolition). These scars would never be obliterated.
The presence of RSS Chief on 5th August Bhoomi Poojan...and his sharing the same stage with the Prime Minister will surely derogate the confidence of educated mass from our established Parliamentary Democracy...
The nation is in the wave of a huge emotional outburst... as per the PM's speech of course... but the entire episode, started from Feb 1992, when the secret meeting took place and the blue print of the demolition was prepared (this information was published in a book "Open Secrets-India's intelligence unveiled", authored by Sir M.K. Dhar, Joint Director, Intelligence Bureau) till the present date, everything were possible because of low literacy rate of the country and of course because of the o***m of religion.... A government can never be in its purest form unless it becomes immune from religious tethers...
Whatever may be the outcome, it is going to be a great receipt after more than two million already existing Hindu temples in the Country... it will surely pave an extensive way for tourism.
If you still want to term it as an act of administrator which is free from any outrage of secularism... i should recall you about the election campaigns and chapter 14 of the BJP Election Manifesto... 5 August was the day on which the secular structure of our Republic has been sacrificed vigorously.
