👨⚖️ Courtroom Comedy – "The Honest Thief"
Judge: Why did you steal the mobile phone?
Accused: My Lord, I didn't steal it. I just picked it up because it was lying alone.
Judge: Then why didn't you return it?
Accused: I tried, Your Lordship... but it was locked!
Judge: So you kept it?
Accused: Yes, My Lord. I was waiting for the owner to call.
Judge: And when the owner called?
Accused: I switched off the phone... because I was sleeping!
Judge: (Smiling) You're very honest.
Accused: Thank you, My Lord.
Judge: Honest enough to spend the next 14 days in judicial custody!
Accused: My Lord... can I at least take the phone charger with me?
Judge: Court is adjourned!
