Dear Fellow Colleagues, who are aspiring to become Assistant Public Prosecutor and Assistant Government Pleader, I am constantly getting calls from my fellow Advocates from various districts asking which book they should refer for preparing for preliminary Examination, Is Lex Education Academy is conducting coaching classes for the exam and also asking do Lex Education Academy is having any reading material for preparation of the examinations. In this context, I thought of sending this message to you all.For Law paper-(Paper-2 ) please read "The Study for the District Judge Preliminary Examinations and for other Judicial Examinations". The Syllabus for the Law Paper-Objective Type is- Civil Procedure Code, Cyber Law, Transfer of Property Act, 1882, Indian Contract Act,1872, Specific Relief Act, 1963, Indian Constitution, Limitation Act, Criminal Procedure Code 1973, Indian Penal Code 1860, Indian Evidence Act 1872. On Cyber laws please refer Information Technology Act Chapter.Study book for District Judge Exam. I have also uploaded the contents of the book here and uploaded Notification containing syllabus in another link . On Case Laws on many subjects study book for the District Judge is updated till July, 2016. So, Please browse all the landmark case laws on above subjects from July, 2016 to till date. Further, you can also study "Objective Type /Multiple Questions with Answer" by Sri.Gowrishankar of Karnataka Law Publications. For Paper -1 -Part I-Aptitude Test containing questions on Comprehension and Proficiency in English and Kannada and Paper-1-Part II-General Knowledge-Test of Reasoning and Mental Ability please refer any material of Civil Services exam which you may get at Sapna Book stalls located at Bangalore, mangalore or Hubbli or in any other good shops. Please note that questions framed in Study book for the District Judge Examination are only illustrative in nature and not Exahustive. During preparations please also refer Bare Acts of all the above subjects and Case Laws in detail for better clarity.
