BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT EXECUTIVE
Qualification: Management Degree or equivalent

The Business Development Executive develops and oversees the expansion strategies for hospitals and services within the area alloted to him. Provides oversight of all marketing, visibility and business development activities related to identifying potential partners all the way to launch of new hospitals. Assists the Manager - Business Development in strategic planning and implementing hospital expansion plan, including analysis of opportunities for expanding lines of business.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS INCLUDE BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO:
a. Primary role is to lead expansion of the hospital’s network across the designated area.
b. Responsible for preparing & presenting an annual & monthly plan, with by and large committed deliverables
c. Responsible for Implementing the plan, Month end evaluation & next month’s action plan preparation
d. Develop New Business relationships with doctors and hospitals, expand hospital network across the state according to agreed upon targets
e. Represent the company to potential doctor partners through direct communication in face to face meetings, telecons and emails
f. Expected to spend 80% of the time out of the office in meeting doctors and partners. Travel is a major factor, both within the state to district headquarters and to corporate office in Bangalore
g. Responsible for lead generation, lead qualification, due diligence and closing according to company’s guidelines
h. Actively and successfully manage the sales process; lead generation credentials pitch, asking questions, solution pitch, negotiation, close, handover to the hospital operations team.
i. Possess drive, motivation and acute attention to detail in ensuring all expansion opportunities to the company are captured and explored.
j. Individual responsibility for new business, and are expected to self manage; however will be a part of a growing team of people with the same job title. Support will be available by the senior management for complex strategies.
k. Create and be accountable for all client proposals, contracts and any further documentation following company’s procedure

m. Effectively interact with the internal team to drive business development
Requirements
a. Proven success in sales ability and demonstrate full knowledge of the sales process
b. Confident Negotiator and ability to 'close the deal'
c. Strong client management skills and ability to keep promises
d. Capable of hands on problem solving with ability to generate ideas and solutions
e. A positive and determined approach to researching and analysing new business opportunities
f. Ability to use own initiative and pay close attention to detail
g. Ability to cope with competing demands and to prioritise tasks
h. Strong communication skills in all forms including written , oral, email, telephone and presentation
i. Excellent organization and time management skills
j. A positive attitude in dealing with people, demonstrable soft skills
k. Capable of working independently and having responsibility as an individual
l. A sound understanding of the healthcare Industry and hospitals/doctors in tier II and tier III towns will be a distinct advantage
m. Ability to communicate effectively in the English language in person, by phone and in writing.
n. Ability to work in diverse organization structures.
o. Experience and ability to work in and/or create a team-oriented, collaborative environment.
p. Proficient with computer/computer applications, including preparing financial data/reports.
q. Must be flexible and manage change easily with the ability to work positively within a continually changing environment.
r. Proven analytical and problem-solving abilities. Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment.
