ಪ್ರಕರಣವೊಂದರ ವಿಚಾರಣೆಗೆ ಸಂಬಂಧಿಸಿದಂತೆ ಸುಪ್ರೀಂಕೋರ್ಟ್‌‌ ನ್ಯಾಯಾಮೂರ್ತಿಯೊಬ್ಬರು ಅರ್ಜಿದಾರನೊಂದಿಗೆ ಕನ್ನಡದಲ್ಲಿ ಮಾತನಾಡಿರುವುದು ಇದೀಗ ಸುದ್ದಿಯಾಗಿದೆ.

ವರ್ಚುವಲ್ ವಿಚಾರಣೆ ವೇಳೆ ಕಾಣಿಸಿಕೊಂಡ ದಾವೆದಾರನಿಗೆ ಭಾರತೀಯ ಸುಪ್ರೀಂಕೋರ್ಟ್‌ ಮುಖ್ಯನ್ಯಾಯಮೂರ್ತಿ ಎನ್‌ವಿ ರಮಣ “ನೀವು ಇಂಗ್ಲಿಷ್‌ನಲ್ಲಿ ಮಾತನಾಡುತ್ತೀರಾ” ಎಂದು ಪ್ರಶ್ನಿಸಿದ್ದಾರೆ. ಇದಕ್ಕೆ ಅರ್ಜಿದಾರ ಯಾವುದೇ ಪ್ರತಿಕ್ರಿಯೆ ನೀಡುವುದಿಲ್ಲ. ಈ ವೇಳೆ, “ಸರಿ ಸಹೋದರ, ಕನ್ನಡದಲ್ಲಿ ಮಾತನಾಡೋಣ್ವಾ” ಎಂದು ಎನ್‌ವಿ ರಮಣ ಕೇಳಿದ್ದಾರೆ. ನಂತರ ಪಕ್ಕದಲ್ಲೇ ಇದ್ದ ಕರ್ನಾಟಕ ಮೂಲದ ನ್ಯಾಯಮೂರ್ತಿ ಎ.ಎಸ್. ಬೋಪಣ್ಣ ಅವರನ್ನು ಅರ್ಜಿದಾರನ ಜೊತೆಗೆ ಕನ್ನಡದಲ್ಲಿ ಸಂವಹನ ಮಾಡುವಂತೆ ಹೇಳಿದ್ದಾರೆ. ಹೀಗಾಗಿ ಬೋಪಣ್ಣ ಅವರು ಅರ್ಜಿದಾರನ ಜೊತೆಗೆ ಕನ್ನಡದಲ್ಲಿ ಮಾತುಕತೆ ಪ್ರಾರಂಭಿಸಿದ್ದಾರೆ.
