Dhanteras or Dhantrayodashi is the first day of the five-day-long Diwali festival in India. It is widely believed that on Dhanteras, Lakshmi (Goddess of Wealth), emerged from the ocean during the churning of milk and this is the reason why Hindus worship Lakshmi and Kubera (Gods of Wealth) are worshipped on Dhanteras.

“Face masks are not mandatory for a person driving a car alone or while exercising /cycling alone “ : Union health ministry.
However it has been clarified that while travelling in a group in a car and while exercising / cycling in groups it is mandatory to wear face masks. This comes as a big relief for people raising eyebrows over being fined for not wearing mask even when they were alone in car .

This happened many years ago somewhere in the state of Madhya Pradesh .

A poor widow had approached a lawyer with her case.

"I don't have money to pay your fees. But I give you my blessings that you will become a very big judge", said the poor widow.

The lawyer filed her case pro bono and won her case, doing everything without taking any fees.

The widow said,"I don't have money to pay your fees. But I give you my blessings that you will become a very big judge".

The lawyer smiled and moved on to doing his pending work.

After some years he was elevated as High Court Judge. And then later on in his life he was elevated as Supreme Court Judge.

And then he retired as 35th Chief Justice of India.

His name is Justice R. C. Lahoti, former Chief Justice of India.
