Visitors can now apply for work permits from within CanadaThe new temporary policy will benefit temporary residents with job offers and Canadian employers, IRCC says.

International visitors who are currently in Canada with a job offer can now apply for a work permit without having to leave the country.

The new policy goes into effect immediately, according to an Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC) media release. It will benefit temporary residents who are already in Canada with a job offer, but it does not apply to anyone arriving in Canada as a visitor after today, August 24.

Flyers planning to visit US, UK, Canada and UAE can now travel to these countries on any valid visa type, including tourist visa under the bilateral agreement.

In a letter to DGCA, Ministry of Civil Aviation has confirmed that air travellers holding valid visa of all kind are allowed to travel to US, UK, Canada and UAE under the bilateral Air Bubble agreement with these countries, easing the travel for all type of Visa holders including tourist, business, student and transit visas.

British Columbia invites 402 Skills Immigration and Express Entry candidates

British Columbia issued new invitations to apply for a provincial nomination for permanent residence to Skills Immigration and Express Entry BC candidates.
The October 1 invitations were issued to the Skilled Workers, International Graduates and Entry level and Semi-skilled Worker categories of the British Columbia Provincial Nominee Program (BC PNP).
The minimum scores for this draw ranged between 78 and 101 points.

Candidates invited in September 25 draw represented 100 occupations

The province of Saskatchewan invited 769 Express Entry and Occupation In-Demand candidates to apply for a provincial nomination for Canadian permanent residence in draws held September 25.

The draws were the first conducted since the Saskatchewan Immigrant Nominee Program (SINP) dramatically expanded the number of high-skilled occupations that are eligible under its popular Express Entry and Occupation In-Demand sub-categories last week, from 19 to 218.

Those invited in the September 25 draws represented 100 occupations, the SINP reported. Among those included were civil and chemical engineers, medical radiation technologists, psychologists and information systems analysts and consultants.

Ontario, home to both Canada’s capital city, Ottawa, and the country’s largest city, Toronto, issued 997 invitations to apply for Canadian permanent residence to Express Entry candidates on August 15.
Express Entry candidates who received an invitation were required to have work experience in one of 10 occupations, as well as a Comprehensive Ranking System (CRS) score between 439 and 465.
The 10 targeted occupations were:

1122 Professional occupations in business management consulting

0124 Advertising, marketing and public relations managers

New Express Entry draw invites 3,600 candidates to apply for Canadian permanent residence

A new Express Entry draw took place Monday, August 12, in which a total of 3,600 invitations to apply for Canadian permanent residence were issued to candidates with scores of 466 and above.
The cut-off score of 466 in today’s draw is seven points above the minimum score of 459 in the previous invitation round on July 24.

British Columbia issues 238 new invitations to graduates and workers

British Columbia invited 238 applicants through a provincial nominee program draw held on August 6, 2019.
The new invitations went to candidates from the Skills Immigration and Express Entry BC streams, specifically the Skilled Worker, International Graduateas well as the Entry Level and Semi Skilled categories.
The minimum scores for this draw ranged between 80 and 105 points.
