Center for Criminal Law and Justice This is an official page of Center for Criminal Law and Justice, Institute of Law, Nirma University.

Centre for Criminal Law and Justice at Institute of Law under Nirma University is concerned not only with the motivations and careers of lawbreakers themselves, but also with broader questions of procedure understanding being part of legal society and policy making. These include issues of definition, policing, prosecution and punishment. It also concentrates on the original research work by the s

tudents and trains them for the same. This Center is broadly based on the interdisciplinary approach in criminal justice with clear relevance with the Law and Society. We encourage students to do research on practical and critical questions in the direction of thinking on crime and crime control. It looks at the complex explanations of why crime is committed and current debates on crime and crime control in relation to social problems.
