Examine the chain of title for commercial/industrial properties
Perform title examination of complex title orders requiring a high level of title expertise
Abstract and analyze records, such as leases, subleases, acreage, liens, judgments, easements, vital statistics, and plot and map books. Determine ownership and legal restrictions to verify legal description of property and completeness of records for examinations, including multi-site properties
Read and decipher legal descriptions relating to title orders
Resolve most issues such as missing information, incomplete, inaccurate, or contradictory information contained in the title documentation
Write title products based on the interpretation and application of procedural guidelines
Prepare and review reports for accuracy
Provide underwriting interpretation within established guidelines
Knowledge / Skills / Technology Used / Requirements

Standard MS skill set
Multiple state licenses (as required by state) to do business in a broad geographic area
