It is the time to file your trademark in the USA!

On January 18, 2025, a substantial increase of the trademark USPTO official fees will enter in force.

Among others, the reduced fee of US$ 250 per class for re-approved descriptions, will not be available anymore, so that only the US$ 350 fee will be applicable.

Moreover, there will be an additional fee for uncomplete applications of US$ 100, of US$ 200 for not using the pre-approved descriptions and of US$ 200 for descriptions including more than 1,000 characters (per class). Therefore, the single fee per class could reach US$ 850 in the worst case!

Maintenance fees will also increase, so that it may worth filing a Statement of Use or a renewal before that date.
