This morning here at Galetech Group Head Office we were honored to have the famous Brendan Griffith 👩‍🍳 catering our Annual Christmas Breakfast in aid of SVP - Society of St. Vincent de Paul Ireland & Cootehill Cancer Care. Both of these charities do phenomenal work throughout Ireland for people who are in need. 💙🎄

How do we deliver our modular buildings …??

As we construct all our modular buildings offsite, we require transportation for each building to be delivered to their location. We transport these modular buildings by using haulage services along with crane services to lift the modular building into place.

How offsite construction benefit's our employees safety..

In traditional build operatives are required to work at height, work in outdoor conditions, work in presence of loud heavy machinery and take other risks that are absent in offsite construction. Offsite construction is less likely to pose a risk of accidents than working on a building site, therefore if more buildings are constructed using offsite factories, we might expect the health and safety record for the building industry to improve.

Building offsite can become a largely repetitive task but this comes with the added benefit of time reductions and high quality guaranteed. Each modular building is constructed offsite in a quality-controlled environment which results in our team meeting tight deadlines.

Whilst these are two amazing benefits for any business considering using offsite construction , another HUGE benefit is offsite modular buildings are completely transportable. This means if you don’t like the location which you have initially chosen you can change it after installation to another location!! 🤩

Check out our sister company, GSL Crannog Garden Rooms who constructed and delivered a bespoke Crannog Garden Room to Co. Kerry.😁

This garden room was completely constructed offsite in our factory here in Co. Cavan. This modular garden room was built and delivered within in one month of order and this project proves that offsite construction is a fast and efficient way of constructing modular buildings.

Benefits of offsite construction...

Environmentally friendly

From a pollution perspective, the offsite process seems to offer a considerable headline improvement over the traditional approach. It is considered that offsite construction processes can offer substantial improvements with regards to environmental pollution and traffic disruption over the traditional approach. Another area in which offsite proves to be better for the environment is with waste, offsite construction is very much less wasteful compared to the traditional build. This is because the design for offsite construction ensures that the processes for ordering and cutting materials to size in the factory are much more controlled than the traditional site. In offsite construction , waste collection and sorting is easier to organise which reduces volumes of waste for disposal.
