Network Ireland has published our first national pre-Budget submission, calling on Government to prioritise women-led enterprise in Budget 2027 with practical measures that help businesses start, grow and scale.

Based on feedback from our 1,400+ members across 17 branches nationwide and our virtual branch, we set out seven priority areas, including:

👉 Reducing the cost of doing business and targeted tax measures for SMEs
👉 Better access to finance for female entrepreneurs
👉 More affordable, accessible childcare
👉 Investment in skills and artificial intelligence
👉 Stronger supports for innovation and R&D
👉 Tackling housing and infrastructure barriers
👉 Advancing equality and inclusion

As National President Karen Ronan said:
“Investing in women in business is not simply an equality issue; it is an economic one. The right supports will strengthen businesses, increase workforce participation and enhance Ireland’s competitiveness.”
