If you have been laid off from work temporarily and need to apply for COVID Pandemic Unemployment Payment to the Department of Social Protection you can apply online at www.gov.ie or you can complete the paper form, UP1 – Jobseeker’s Allowance/Benefit Application Form.

If you do not have a printer and need a paper form please contact the office (096-36933) and I can arrange to print one off for you.I have a few forms on my door today if anyone needs one.

In the Dáil on the 12th of March Deputy Tony McLoughlin asked the Minister for Housing, Planning and Local Government when the associated regulations on the holding of plebiscites for place names will be laid before the Houses of the Oireachtas in view of the fact that the Local Government Act 2019 has been enacted; and if he will make a statement on the matter........

Warning - I have received numerous calls to the office today from 0469435301 purporting to be from Microsoft. This is a scam so best beware if you get a similar call... just hang up on them don't even entertain them.
