This weekend sees the start of the 2025 William Fry Junior Lawn Tennis Championships of Ireland, hosted at the historic Fitzwilliam Lawn Tennis Club.

William Fry is delighted to announce it has won in the "Excellence in Skills Development" category and was shortlisted for two other awards at the Professional Services Management Excellence Awards 2025.

The firm was recognised for its "STRIVE" coaching programme, a project spearheaded by Lisa Mc Goldrick, Learning & Development Manager, which offers a novel alternative to the traditional method of developing trainee lawyers.

Ahead of International Women's Day on 8 March, William Fry hosted an internal event designed to inspire, educate, and motivate women within our firm, equipping them with the tools and confidence to advance their careers and personal growth.

The session featured a panel discussion with senior female leaders from William Fry, who shared their insights and advice to help accelerate future success. Additionally, there was a short workshop encouraging attendees to write a memo to their future selves.

Congratulations to the Blackhall Ladies’ Gaelic Football Team! Co-founded by Katelyn Dunleavy Larkin, Charley Moore, and Molly Ryan (Year 1 trainees), the team claimed victory over Stranmillis University College, Belfast, in the Colleges Competition final on Wednesday, February 19.
