📘First Workshop of the Year📘

We are bringing you a fantastic opportunity to learn all things moot court and legal advocacy this Thursday 20th October.

Ciara Ramsbottom, currently a trainee solicitor in and former Moot Court Convenor 2019/20, will be attending this year’s workshop. She will explain all the basics and give her advice on how to make your skills stand out and be as effective as possible!

This workshop will be of great benefit to those entering the Criminal Mock Trial and to anyone who wants to improve their general legal knowledge outside of the lecture hall📝

⁉️We will have an open setting where all questions will be welcome and answered⁉️

🍕Of course, pizza for fuelling the brains at the end🍕

🔵 Save The Date 🔵

Our annual Criminal Mock Trial will be taking place on 5th November 2022!

The competition is aimed students who have never competed in a moot before (are not registered to compete in the National Moot etc).

As this moot is for beginners we will be holding a workshop soon where you will learn the basics of mooting and how it all works - don’t be nervous to enter, everyone will be new to this and it’s a great way to learn and boost your legal knowledge outside of a lecture hall✅

In order to compete in this competition, we require all participants to register their interest. Please note there is no written element to this competition; participants need only prepare an opening speech, closing speech, and questions for witnesses. All details on this can be found in the question pack in your emails😊

📧If you did not receive an email or you have any questions at all contact [email protected]📧
