The submission deadline to Volume X of the King's Inns Law Review is fast approaching - Friday, 9 April 2021.

Submission details available at www.kingsinnslawreview.ie

For this 10th anniversary volume, a prize of €500 will be awarded to the best article submitted. While the Editorial Board accept articles on all areas of Irish, European, and International Law, they particularly welcome submissions related to this year’s theme of ‘The Irish Administrative State’. A further prize of €500 will be awarded for the best submission on this theme.

We are happy to announce that the Board of King’s Inns Law Review has decided to extend the deadline for submissions to Volume X of the Review. The new and final deadline for submissions is Friday, April 9th. We hope this gives more time for those still considering articles to submit.

Following this deadline, submissions will be reviewed and articles will be selected for Volume X which is due to be published later this year. We accept submissions on all areas of Irish, European and international law, and this is a wonderful opportunity for students to have their work published. For Volume X, we are offering a prize of €500 for the best article we receive, and a further prize of €500 for the best article relating to the theme of “The Irish Administrative State”.

Our Authors' Evening will take place at 6.30pm this Thursday 14 Jan, with speakers The Hon Mr Justice Donal O'Donnell, of the Supreme Court, and Dr Róisín Costello, Assistant Professor at DCU School of Law and Government.

The King’s Inns Law Review Volume X - Call for Submissions

Deadline for Submissions: 15 February 2021

The Editorial Board of the King’s Inns Law Review is now considering articles, case notes, and commentaries from undergraduate and postgraduate law students as well as practitioners and legal professionals for inclusion in its 10th Volume. The KILR is a peer-reviewed law journal published independently by students at the King’s Inns. It is dedicated to Irish and international scholarship and enjoys a wide circulation nationally and internationally.

For this special 10-year anniversary volume, a prize of €500 will be awarded to the best article submitted. While we accept articles on all areas of Irish, European, and International Law, we particularly welcome submissions related to this year’s theme of ‘The Irish Administrative State’. A further prize of €500 will be awarded for the best submission on this theme.

Submission Guidelines:
Articles must be between 5,000 and 12,000 words (including footnotes), case-notes and commentaries must be between 3,000 and 6,000 words. All submissions must conform to the OSCOLA Ireland Referencing Format and be submitted in .doc or .docx format. Submission of articles, case-notes and commentaries on all areas of law with reference to Irish, European or International Law will be considered for publication and should be sent to [email protected].
