Paper Beading is a creative crafting activity that can be incorporated in your child's birthday parties. I was welcomed with so much enthusiasm from 8 year olds who were all still amazed how the beads are made from paper. They enjoyed painting their own beads, and wore their own creations at the end of a party. Even mum and dad, and grandmother joined in the fun.

You can now book Loud Plastics Creation for your kid's birthday party in Ireland. 15€ per child. The fee includes workshop kit with beads and a lovely necklace.

This is what happens on a windy windy night...Kiddie Crafting! My first Paper Beading Craft session with these adorable siblings. I had a wonderful time, seeing each of them really concentrating and enjoying rolling the paper strips and painting the paper beads. Even mum Cheryll was hooked!

I am so happy to share the continuous production and creation of upcycled accessories in Masohi, Central Maluku in Indonesia one year after the workshop I had there. Kudos to all the ibus and Ibu Joan for championing this advocacy in your province.

The Art of Fusing Plastics. This is the Logo of Central Maluku Regency in Indonesia which I created from fusing waste plastic during a 5-week volunteer stint in 2014 in partnership with P2TP2A, an Indonesia NGO, with project sites in Jakarta and Masohi.

This workshop is in partnership with SOS Hermann Gmeiner National Training Center (HGNTC) located in Lipa City, Batangas. SOS HGNTC is the Training Facility of SOS Childrens Village in the Philippines. There were 16 participants coming from various social backgrounds, whereas 9 out of 16 come from Bataan and the other 7 are from Batangas. This talented bunch learned how to crochet plastic yarn (plarn), paper beading, fusing plastic, and making bracelet from aluminum pullrings. The 80-hour workshop culminated with a Fashion Show where they showcased their upcycled accessories, witnessed by SOS community of aunties and staff, and Pondong Batangan Community of Lipa City

In partnership with SOS Hermann Gmeiner National Training Center (HGNTC), and with special participation of my mother as my Workshop Assistant. This 80-hour workshop trained about 16 participants whose ages range from 12 to 59 years old. The participants learned various upcycling skills all of which were showcased with the creation of upcycled accessories in a Fashion Show during the Closing Ceremony.
