Drive-by will during Covid19 Pandemic

A client, who is in the middle of chemotherapy, wanted our advice and assistance on estate planning for their business and personal estate. We were able to act quickly and decisively and within days of instructing us, our client came to the office car park and we executed their will while following Government guidelines and protecting our client.

At Regan Solicitors we are here for you. We will advise and update you remotely and are happy to meet and talk online via Zoom or Facetime. We will draft and agree the contents your will before we meet in person to execute your will. Our main concern is the safety of our clients and staff and executing wills in our car park has proved a popular and practical solution for everyone involved.

Helping the our clients in the midst of a Pandemic

At Regan Solicitors, we have recently been contacted by clients, old and new, looking to update or do their will. One of these clients was an elderly, former ICU nurse, who suffers with acute medical conditions and recently recovered from pneumonia. They were anxious about what will happen to them in these uncertain times and wanted a will.

Although many institutions and bodies are accepting digital signatures, the will remains one document that requires a “wet” signature. We were able, however, to execute our client’s will while following Government guidelines and protecting our client. All advises and drafts were done remotely and for executing the will we met our client at their property but stayed outside whilst our client remained inside. Our client was very happy with the outcome and we were able to give them peace of mind.
