Most people will never understand how the mind works fully and being honest neither will I

Today iv spent a lot of the day in bed as I’m very down in myself tbh the last two days

Different things bother me I would consider myself and easy going anough guy but when I get down I get very down in the dumps

A memory popped up on the phone yesterday first of September 2016 it was the first day I cleared a site for a house I was building at just 25

Tbh when a relationship breaks down like that after all the time energy and effort I dunno are you ever the same person

Sometimes I find it hard to say there is no point looking back but I find it hard being honest

I’m a bit of a strange person if you want to call it that because I never had many friends I was always a worker I’d always put work first if you asked me to go for a drink I’d go to work from a young age and there’s times I regret it

I had a few very very hard few years in my years from when I was 25 to 29 I dinit know was I coming or going I hated who I was I just did not want to be hear anymore I caused a lot of stress on my family and just dinit know why I was the way I was

Clearwide is 4 years this month . September plays a special place in my heart for that reason .

I worked for two drainage company’s Mcbreen and dynorod before I started Clearwide

Clearwide gave me a sense of purpose it gave me something to get up for in the morning iv built it from the ground up

Lot of people will find it hard to see how could a buisness mean so much to someone but this buisness does the grind and effort that has gone in every day to make it what it is

I just want people to know that iv been upset today and yesterday but tommrow im gunna get up in the morning and give life every shot I got

You only have one life and you got to go with it

Hope I don’t bore anyone with my post but I just have to vent and writeing always has helped me vent me feelings and emotions

I came home this evening from work just feeling pi**ed off in myself pi**ed off with life and just down in myself ....

I just get days like this.

I look at myself in the mirror and I ask myself questions

Sometimes I look at myself and consider myself a failure

Sometimes I look at myself and think I'm great for doing what I'm doing

Its a split second when someone does it everything go's blank in there brain and they think of noting,iv been there I still get the odd wave length Sometimes I wish I was gone from memories I find it hard to forget

No matter how hard it is to get out of bed in morning I know I have to get up and keep fighting but it is difficult it's just so hard at times

But tommrows a new day

Honestly... it's not about money or greed or to try take over

It's about why starting clearwide has done for me as a person my journey my mental health

There was a time I did not want to be hear anymore I hated my life so much

The industry has done so much for me

Every day, millions of people turn on a tap, flush a toilet or walk down a street without giving a second thought to the infrastructure beneath their feet.

That's exactly how it should be.

When our industry does its job well, nobody notices.

And I'm proud to be part of that.

I love this industry because it's full of people who solve real problems.

Contractors.
Operators.

People who don't chase titles they build, repair and protect the infrastructure that keeps our communities running.

Our work isn't glamorous.
But it's meaningful.

For me, that's something worth getting excited about every single day.
