As of May 13, 2026, the Ministry of Investment officially greenlit the Governor of Bali’s request to completely block Low-Risk and Lower-Medium-Risk KBLI activations for PT PMA companies in the region.

Moving forward, the focus is entirely on larger-scale, higher-risk frameworks (like verified restaurants, spas, and full-scale brokerage licenses) that demand strict ministry verification.
