❗️This is a new compliance requirement and does not replace the annual tax return (SPT).

🗓 The deadline for the 2025 financial year is June 30, 2026.

Even if your company has not conducted any business activities, the report must still be submitted.

⚠️ Failure to comply may result in sanctions, including suspension of access to the AHU system, which can prevent your company from making corporate changes and carrying out important legal actions.

Many travelers ask whether they need a visa to enter Indonesia because some travel websites still say they don’t.

That information is outdated.

Before 2020, citizens of several countries could enter Indonesia visa-free and stay for up to 30 days.

❗️Today, visa-free entry is only available to citizens of ASEAN countries.

For most other nationalities, a Visa on Arrival (VOA) or e-VOA is required.

Currently, citizens of 97 countries are eligible to obtain a Visa on Arrival or apply online before traveling.

40% of all foreign-owned companies in Indonesia are registered in Bali.

And that’s exactly why Bali became the first region in the country to start restricting them.

Since January 2026, the province has been gradually limiting access for foreign investors to some of the most popular business activity codes (KBLI).

Management consulting is already closed. Car rentals, restaurants, fitness centers, and travel agencies may be next. In practice, the OSS system is already rejecting applications — even before final ministerial regulations are issued.

❗️These are not nationwide changes. The same KBLI codes are still available in Jakarta and Surabaya. The restrictions currently affect Bali only — and specifically foreign investors.
