The New Indonesia Business Activity Classification System (KBLI 2025) is officially implemented!

As of 18 December 2025, Indonesia’s Central Bureau of Statistics released the new KBLI 2025 system, replacing the old KBLI 2020.

This change introduces new KBLI codes to adapt to the rapidly growing business scene in Indonesia, ensuring more clarity in business activity classification in the country.

As this change impacts businesses in many sectors, especially digital platforms, it is highly recommended that you immediately check your old 2020 KBLI against the new 2025 KBLI codes to identify any changes in risk levels or business scope. If affected, you must adjust your business classification before 18 June 2026.
