Job Title: Custodial Staff
Job Description: We are currently seeking a diligent and responsible individual to join our team as a Custodial Staff member. As a custodian, you will play a crucial role in maintaining the cleanliness and orderliness of our facilities. This position involves a variety of tasks to ensure a safe and sanitary environment for both staff and guests.
Responsibilities:
1. Perform routine cleaning tasks, including sweeping, mopping, and vacuuming floors.
2. Dust and polish furniture, fixtures, and surfaces to maintain a clean and presentable appearance.
3. Clean and sanitize restrooms, ensuring that hygiene standards are met.
4. Empty and dispose of trash and recycling bins on a regular basis.
5. Monitor and replenish cleaning supplies as needed.
6. Report any maintenance issues or damages to the appropriate personnel.
7. Assist with setting up and cleaning up after events or gatherings.
8. Ensure common areas, hallways, and entrances are well-maintained and free of debris.
9. Perform minor repairs and maintenance tasks as required.
10. Collaborate with other staff members to maintain a positive and cooperative working environment.
11. Assist the guests in their needed regarding the hospitality and our facilities.
12. Check the water tank and electricity clock daily and report the need for refilling.
Qualifications:
1. Previous experience in custodial or janitorial (caretaker) roles is preferred.
2. Ability to operate cleaning equipment and use cleaning products safely.
3. Strong attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining a high standard of cleanliness.
4. Good communication skills to report issues and coordinate with other team members.
5. Physical stamina and the ability to lift and move heavy objects.
6. Flexibility to work during evenings or weekends, as needed.
7. Knowledge of basic maintenance tasks is a plus.
8. High school diploma or equivalent.
9. Polite and friendly when dealing with people.
