✨ In Memory of Larry Schlesser ✨

It is with a heavy heart that I write this tribute to my dear friend, mentor, and boss, Larry Schlesser, who passed away in the United States on Sep 3rd, 2024. Though I am currently in Roatan, the impact Larry had on my life and the lives of many here resonates deeply.

When Larry arrived in Roatan in 1999, he recognized the untapped potential within the local community and dedicated himself to changing the narrative around real estate on Roatan. He believed in empowering Bay Islanders, founding a real estate training school that has helped many achieve their dreams and transform their lives. Larry was also one of the founding members of the Roatan Realtor Association (RRA). His efforts have paved the way for countless successful agents and professionals in our industry.

Larry's compassion extended beyond business. He once suspended his own real estate commission to support a friend in financial distress, exemplifying the selflessness that defined him. He saw potential in everyone and provided guidance that helped us all grow.

One of Larry's favorite sayings was, “If you give a hungry man a fish, you feed him for a day; if you teach him how to fish, you feed him for a lifetime.” His legacy will live on in the many lives he touched and the professionals he nurtured.

I am forever grateful to have known Larry and to have been shaped by his wisdom and generosity. He leaves behind a legacy of love, mentorship, and unwavering support for our community.

Rest in peace, Larry. You will never be forgotten. ❤

Today, we proudly closed on a beautiful oceanview buildable lot in Czech Village, Roatan! 🎉 Although our happy buyers couldn’t be with us for the closing, we felt their joy and enthusiasm throughout the process.

A big thank you to the incredible Keller Williams Roatan team who made this possible! Special shoutout to our closing attorney, Hilsy Villalobos, and our notary, Alejandro Tugliani, for their professionalism and expertise. We also appreciate the support from the seller’s POA and the escrow team for their seamless coordination.
