Last weekend was full of excitement for the Tanner De Witt-sponsored Tekkerz football team.
Beyond their regular Junior Premier League matches, several RCFC/Tekkerz squads qualified for spots in the elite Jockey Club Youth Football Development Programme ‘Golden Age’, a fantastic achievement!
On top of that, the teams took part in Operation Santa Claus Football Tournament 2025, braving the heat in Happy Valley on Sunday to support this inspiring local charity helping those in need across Hong Kong. Proud to back such talent and heart!
Tanner De Witt crew traded in their suits for safety goggles and headed out for an adrenaline-pumping Jelly Gun War Game—think paintball, but cleaner and just as competitive!
From tactical showdowns to sneak attacks it was a perfect mix of teamwork, strategy, and a whole lot of laughs. A huge shoutout to everyone who brought their A-game and made it a day to remember!

TDW participated in the Law Society 3x3 Basketball Competition
On 28 December, the TDW basketball team participated in the 3-on-3 Basketball Competition hosted by the Law Society, competing against other six teams of solicitors and trainees.
The competition was fierce! After each team having six intense 10-minute games, three teams - including Team TDW – finished with identical records of 5 wins and 1 loss each, and no single team managed to defeat both of the other top teams. Finally, Team TDW secured the title of 2nd Runner-up based on point differential.
Congratulations to our outstanding players: Sunny Hathiramani, Tim Au, Adam Hoi, Oliver Lam and Austin Leung!
We would also like to extend our gratitude to the Law Society for organising such a fantastic event that connects members within the legal community.

Members of our team joined forces with A Plastic Ocean Foundation for a beach clean-up. We tackled the plastic, rubbish and debris scattered over the shoreline of Shek O Beach. We collected and removed many bags of plastic waste. Clean-ups such as this help to highlight the power of collective action by getting stuck in and actively helping to remove plastic pollution. Reducing plastic pollution is crucial for protecting marine life and ensuring healthier oceans. Every piece of plastic removed and refused is a step towards a more sustainable future.
This effort serves as a powerful reminder of the importance of incorporating sustainable practices into our daily routines and making conscious choices to reduce our environmental impact. Here at TDW we refuse single use plastic and encourage recycling wherever possible.
Tanner De Witt has supported A Plastic Ocean Foundation since 2015 and we were fortunate enough to be an advisor in relation to the award-winning documentary, A Plastic Ocean. We are delighted to continue supporting this incredible foundation.

During the vibrant Hong Kong Legal Walk, a heart-warming scene caught everyone’s attention. A jolly, Santa Claus-like man, with a round belly and a snowy white beard, was seen smiling gently at the camera. His eyes sparkled with kindness and joy, reflecting his deep love for Hong Kong.
Amidst the bustling crowd of participants walking for a noble cause, his presence added a touch of festive cheer and community spirit. This man, clearly cherishing the city, embodied the essence of the event, spreading goodwill and positivity. His gentle smile and warm demeanour reminded us all of the importance of unity and love for our community.
