In addition to the production and marketing of Michael Andrew Law's art and painting related workshops, Gallery Michael Andrew Law functions as a private viewing room for select collectors and guests. Through the management of production and sale of artwork at the gallery, the goal is to create and establish an operation

that will imbue art itself with a new social value. Offering knowledgeable, professional service in a personal, friendly atmosphere, the artist-owner of Gallery Michael Andrew Law provide visitors and collectors with the opportunity of dealing directly with the artist. We value our clients and they, in turn, value us. Gallery Michael Andrew Law ​ is currectly located in Hong Kong and our database online as a thriving arts community. We feature rotating Seasonal Art shows, as well as ongoing exhibition of the work of all gallery artists online. 【3個形成習慣的要素】

最近在看《The 7 Habits of Highly Effective People》；作者 Steven R. Covey 將習慣定義為「知識」（knowledge)、「技巧」(skill) 與「意願」(desire) 三者的混合體。

知識，是理論性的觀念，指點我們「做什麼」（what to do) 以及「為何做」(why)；

技巧，是指「如何做」(how to do)；

意願，則是「想做」(want to do)，表示我們有付諸行動的企圖心。

如果要培養一種習慣，這三大要素缺一不可。

下次你或你想某人培養一種習慣，想想這三個因素。

【3個女權主義藝術家 Marilyn Minter 的成功因素】

🔶相信你內心的聲音，不要盲目迎合大眾

Don’t try to follow the movement of the moment. Make your work from your truth.

Minter 初到紐約時，當時盛行德國表現主義，然而她的畫風偏向經已不流行的寫實主義（Realism），眼見沒人肯去她的工作室看畫，決定迎合大眾嘗試複製潑畫（abstract gestural painting），但她的潑畫太差，像仿製品一樣，最終她還是忠於自己，相信自己的直覺，畫自己喜歡的，最後還得到藝術界的認同。

八九十年代，Minter思考如何增加知名度，問自己什麼題材女藝術家不會碰，就是色情！之後她創作一系列女性高潮的畫作和攝影作品，震驚了畫壇，也聲名大噪了。

1990年，Minter 將兩間畫廊給了她一筆資金用來宣傳她即將舉行的畫展，他們建議傳統地在藝術雜誌上賣廣告，Minter卻花了$1200美元買了30秒David Letterman Night Show的播放時間，成為第一位在這個美國著名訪談節目上放廣告的藝術家，也增加了Minter的知名度。

🔶做你喜歡做的事情，即使面對挫折，還是保持前進

Minter 在2021年 School of Visual Arts New York City 的畢業典禮上說：

Don’t go into this, unless you have no choice or you have to go into this with love, or from love.

藝術家是很難賺到錢的，所以如果你不是很熱愛藝術，請不要做藝術。藝術創作的路上是不停從錯誤中學習，她嘗試過二百多種題材才能獲得現在的成功。
