On 14 July 2026, our Partners Anthony Marrin (Dispute Resolution and Arbitration Department) and Karen Lam (Family and Private Client Department) had the pleasure of speaking at seminars in Shanghai, hosted at the offices of V&T Law Firm.

Anthony introduced the civil litigation process in Hong Kong and shared practical insights from cross-border cases, offering useful tips when advising clients. Karen then detailed Hong Kong family law practices, covering jurisdiction for divorce, court procedures and the law on children arrangements and ancillary relief. She also introduced the available ADR processes in family law in Hong Kong and shared insights on cross-border family law cases, as well as law and development.

Representatives from V&T Law Firm also shared interesting case studies on litigation, family law matters and Hong Kong-related estate notarisation. The seminar was attended by over 400 legal practitioners both in person and online.

Later that evening, Karen spoke at an online seminar with practitioners from Mainland China and the UK. The session focused on the law and developments relating to nuptial agreements. The live stream attracted over 2,500 views and was very well received.

We are very grateful for the warm reception and the opportunity to exchange knowledge with our friends and colleagues in Shanghai and beyond.

2026年6月30日下午，由浙江省公安廳境外非政府組織管理辦公室主辦的「揚帆·護航」海外法律服務律師團聘任儀式暨交流座談會，於浙江大學光華法學院圓滿舉行。聯會執委陳少彬律師在會上正式獲聘為海外法律服務律師團成員，並作主題分享。
陳少彬律師圍繞「內地與香港法律服務協作」主題作分享交流，結合香港普通法制度優勢、國際爭議解決機制，以及內地與香港在跨境爭議解決、商事法律服務、企業出海合規、知識產權保護、婚姻繼承法律協作等方面的實踐經驗，深入闡述兩地法律服務協同發展的現實基礎與廣闊前景。
