It has long been a popular show among citizens concerned about social issues and has become an important platform for exposing scams and consumer traps. It is an honor to be interviewed as a Regulated Canadian Immigration Consultant (RCIC)! 🎥
Immigrating to Canada is a life-changing decision, but unfortunately, many Hong Kongers are falling victim to immigration scams. Too many so-called "consultants" promise the impossible—without any real professional knowledge—just to take clients’ money. Over the years, I’ve seen countless cases where people were misled, given false hope, and left stranded because of unqualified agents.
This is why being an RCIC means so much to me.
Becoming a Regulated Canadian Immigration Consultant wasn’t easy. I still remember the toughest time in my life—juggling my Master’s degree in Counselling while studying for the rigorous one-year RCIC program. But the journey didn’t stop there. To earn my license, I had to pass a challenging language proficiency exam, a complex licensing exam, and meet strict professional and ethical standards. This profession is not about just "selling a dream"; it’s about knowing the law, protecting clients, and giving them a real future.
Looking back, I am proud of what I have achieved. There are very, very few RCICs in Hong Kong and China who truly specialize in Canadian immigration law. Over the years, I have handled thousand of cases—from study permits to work permits, PR applications, family sponsorships, criminal rehabilitation and more. Every case is different, every client has a story, and every successful application is a life changed.
This is why I do what I do. I stand for honesty, expertise, and real results. If you’re planning to immigrate, don’t trust empty promises—trust qualifications.

移民加拿大是一個改變人生的重要決定，但可惜的是，現在有太多移民詐騙陷阱。不少所謂的「顧問」根本沒有專業知識，卻誇大承諾，只為了賺取客戶的金錢。這些公司不但收取高昂費用，還提供錯誤資訊，導致許多港人移民夢碎，甚至影響人生規劃。
這正是為什麼成為 RCIC 對我來說如此重要。
成為加拿大持牌移民顧問（RCIC）並不容易。我仍記得那段最艱難的時光——一邊攻讀輔導學碩士學位，一邊修讀嚴格的 RCIC 一年課程。完成課程後，還要面對嚴格的英語考試、專業牌照考試，並符合各種法律及道德要求。這份工作不只是「賣夢想」，而是憑藉真正的專業知識，保障客戶的權益，給予切實可行的方案。
回顧這些年的努力，我很慶幸自己能夠成為 RCIC，因為在香港及中國，真正專精加拿大移民法的 RCIC 寥寥無幾。 我經手過數千宗個案，從學生簽證、工作簽證，到永久居民申請、家庭團聚、刑事更新等，每一宗案件都有不同的挑戰，每一位客戶都有自己的故事，而每一次成功的申請，都代表著一個人生的轉變。
這就是我堅持的原因——專業、誠信、實事求是。
