In February 2014, Prudence Mak (ex Deacons and Simmons & Simmons for a total of over 18 years) and Katherine Chu (ex Deacons and the then Johnson Stokes & Master for over 20 years) joined or rather took over the firm as Partners.

In January 2015, followed an initial year's gearing and an unanimous decision of all Partners in November 2015, the firm's name was rebranded into WMC Partners, 黃麥朱律師行.

Later this month, July 2016, after a total of about 18 years at the current address from the inception of the firm, WMC Partners will be relocating to the new address as another key step in the rebranding, for an even better, even sharper delivery of our accumulated 80 years of experience in legal services to the loyal clients over the decades who have been genuinely in support.

When Henry H. C. Wong & Co. indeed has been totally replaced by WMC Partners, we feel obliged to repeat our relocation message to those who have genuinely shown their love over the years. Thank you 🙏

Completing our historic roles in taking the firm to this far, on 11 January 2015, the torch with burning flames was passed on to WMC Partners. We have completely become WMC Partners as from 11 January 2015! Your continuous support is most greatly appreciated!

Finally, as of yesterday evening, long awaited green light was received from the Law Society on our change of name to WMC Partners 黃麥朱律師行. An unspoken but thorough sense of happiness instantly stemmed rocketed through the roof, exactly like, FINALLY, IT HAPPENED! 11 January 2015 for the official change. Tell us you like the logo for the new venture!

Been a while I have written on the firm's post!
Hope everyone is keeping well & energetic!
6 months flash us by and the consolidation from within the NEW partnership in the firm been way more demanding than I would have thought!
Time and tough efforts are however worth the while!
Launching a major project with the firm's valued group of clients in August 2014 would tie the team members' hands tighter, tie the firm's knots with valued clients tighter and we are all ernestly looking forward to bringing cheerfully promising results to those real patrons of the firm!

On Friday 7 March, our Henry Wong helped settling a 2-year long court action as the mediator during the best part of the day, and then presented to an audience of about 90 general insurance and reinsurance operators on the latest development of the relevant law, including the current topic on the "Damages Ordinance for Hong Kong". A demanding but meaningful day to finish the first week in March!
