Georgian International Arbitration Centre is first non-profit arbitration institution in Georgia, which is created based on the best international arbitration practice. The GIAC Arbitration Rules reflect the needs of the parties combining recent developments in the field.

🏛️ Georgian International Arbitration Centre (GIAC) was represented at the Global ADR Colloquium and Dispute Resolution Symposium, which took place from May 6-8, 2026, in Istanbul, Türkiye.

⚖️ GIAC Secretary General Beka Injia and Senior Legal Counsel David Edilashvili participated in this significant event organized by the U.S. Department of Commerce's Commercial Law Development Program (CLDP). The symposium focused on institutional and judiciary convergence, case management, and business development for independent ADR centers.

🗣️ Beka Injia shared his expertise as a speaker on the "Sectorial Approach to ADR: Infrastructure and Finance" panel. Engaging with international peers continues to help GIAC build a transparent, efficient, and investor-friendly dispute resolution ecosystem.

🚀 გაიმართა პირველი ერთობლივი Meetup თემაზე — „AI x არბიტრაჟი“!

🤖⚖️ საქართველოს სავაჭრო-სამრეწველო პალატისა (GCCI) და საქართველოს საერთაშორისო საარბიტრაჟო ცენტრის (GIAC) ორგანიზებით გამართულმა ღონისძიებამ 50-ზე მეტი იურისტი და ბიზნეს/ტექ-სექტორის წარმომადგენელი შეკრიბა.

პანელური დისკუსიის მთავარი თემები იყო:
🔹 AI-ის პრაქტიკული გამოყენება დავების მართვაში
🔹 AI-ის როლი გადაწყვეტილებების მიღების პროცესში
🔹 ადამიანის შეუცვლელი როლი ტექნოლოგიური განვითარების პირობებში

🎤 ღონისძიება გახსნა სავაჭრო-სამრეწველო პალატის პრეზიდენტმა, გიორგი პერტაიამ, რომელმაც დავების გადაწყვეტის პროცესში ინოვაციების დანერგვის მნიშვნელობას გაუსვა ხაზი.

🚀 The first joint Meetup on "AI x Arbitration" was a great success! 🤖⚖️

Organized by the Georgian Chamber of Commerce and Industry (GCCI) and the Georgian International Arbitration Centre (GIAC), the event brought together over 50 lawyers, alongside representatives from the business and technology sectors, to discuss the impact of artificial intelligence on legal practice. 💡

The main topics of the panel discussion included:
🔹 The practical application of AI in dispute management
🔹 The role of AI in the decision-making process
🔹 The irreplaceable role of human professionals amidst technological development

The event was opened by Giorgi Pertaia, President of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry, who emphasized the importance of introducing innovations in the dispute resolution process. 🎤

The panel discussion, which explored the field's challenges and future perspectives, featured Beka Injia, Secretary General of GIAC, alongside representatives from IMPEL AI, GRATA International, and BTU (Business and Technology University). 👏

📢 We are thrilled to share that Georgian International Arbitration Centre (GIAC), led by Secretary General Beka Injia and in partnership with Eversheds Sutherland, successfully hosted the Caucasus and Central Asia Arbitration Series yesterday, 24 March, during !

🤝 It was a fantastic session at the Eversheds Sutherland Paris offices, bringing regional expertise to the heart of Paris.

📑 The session featured two dynamic panels expertly moderated by Ketevan Betaneli. The discussions were led by the excellent speakers Wesley Pydiamah, Shirin Gurdova, Gulirano Abdullajonova, Nurlan Mustafayev, Battine Edwards, and Sarah Monnerville Smith, who provided valuable insights into critical industry developments and dispute resolution updates across the Caucasus and Central Asia. They also shared practical, strategic guidance on obtaining arbitrator appointments in regional commercial disputes.

🥂The afternoon concluded with a networking reception featuring culinary highlights from the region, proudly sponsored by Deloitte.
