🚨 The Renters Rights Act (RRA) is coming, and it’s the biggest reform to the private rented sector in a generation.

From 1 May 2026, all new and existing ASTs will convert to Assured Periodic Tenancies, Section 21 will be abolished, rent increases will be restricted, rental bidding will be banned, and new information duties will apply.

If you’re a landlord, agent, or buyer of tenanted property, now is the time to review your tenancy agreements, rent review clauses, and possession strategies.

A major shift is coming for the private rented sector. From 1 May 2026, the Renters’ Rights Act requires landlords and agents to issue the new Information Sheet, with fines up to £7,000 for missing the deadline.
