Hello 👋 to all our clients and followers old and new! We have not been very good at posting on here recently - sorry... We are still though incredibly busy drafting Wills, LPAs (more important than a Will says Martin Lewis!) doing Grants of Probate and estate administrations. Hello to all our lovely clients and followers 👋👋
We continue to be very busy, we have just celebrated our 7th year in business. We would never have dreamed 7 years ago that we would now have had around 1000 clients!
It is time to start catching up with clients who had their Wills etc done 5-7 years ago so if this is you then we will be in touch. Always sensible to have a free review to check everything still works for you.

We talk about Wills all the time, but rarely about an equally important document, the Lasting Power of Attorney!
If a Will does not exist, intestacy laws prevail - not perfect but a framework is there.
If LPAs are not in place the risks and costs are far more. Loss of mental capacity can happen to anyone, at any age. Without these registered legal documents your loved ones will not be able to act on any crucial matters (e.g. remortgage) let alone have any say in your care.
LPAs not only protect your assets and your quality of care, but most importantly your peace of mind. LPAs ensure that those you trust to have your best interests at heart are in a position to help you in your darkest hours.

Good morning everyone.
Just a useful update on technology catching up on the use of Lasting Powers of Attorney (LPAs). Rather than having to attend in person at many institutions eg. banks, your appointed attorneys can now use the bar code on newly made LPAs to register themselves on-line with the institution. It should save a lot of hassle and time, especially during the current pandemic. Any questions - please feel free to ask!
LPAs value are only realised when needed, and then they are invaluable.
