BCWA CYP Advocates are here to support children and young people affected by domestic abuse at home, and gang affected children and young people at risk of exploitation and sexual abuse. This is a space where you can have a debate, talk about things that might be worrying you, get good information about staying safe in your relationships, and find out where to get help if you need it. We’ve been w
orking in Sandwell for the last 30 years offering help to people who have suffered domestic abuse and sexual violence. This includes women, men, young people and children. We can offer support with things like accommodation, communicating with the police, support at court, advocating in meetings with social services or schools, safety planning, and counselling. We never judge people or tell them what to do. We listen, we support, and we care. We also work in schools and youth clubs across the area with all young people, talking about healthy relationships, staying safe, grooming, teenage relationship abuse; sexual bullying; sexual exploitation; domestic and sexual violence; gang culture; drugs and alcohol, and what the law says. We believe you are stronger if you have the right information and feel comfortable talking about issues that can be difficult. If you have been affected by any of these issues and need some support, please call our specialist team on 0121 553 0090 or text 07581 492 806. You can find out more information about us and our support services on http://www.sandwellwomensaid.co.uk/support-for-children.html
